Seattle’s many blues

I have been documenting Seattle since I moved here in 2014. The soft light - thanks to that cloud layer we experience most of the year - the striking mountains, the water that surrounds the city, all make Seattle a place to admire, despite the many layers of clothing we have to have at hand, and the traffic challenges which often makes us stay in our little corner of town.

Often on my walks, I bring a little camera, a Ricoh GRX recommended to me by the talented photographer Emily Nathan, founder of Tiny Atlas. Check out her beautiful work.

In documenting Seattle, I have also had the opportunity to photograph the newly developed waterfront for the Seattle Architecture Foundation. It made me very happy to see people enjoying the spacious area, the landscaping, and the many amenities.

The images below felt like sweet postcards of a city that is welcoming, beautiful and ready for summer. Go enjoy!

In the meantime, I will be working on editing recent work and looking forward to connecting with many of you as the year moves ahead.

Wishing you a most enjoyable summer,

Alessandra
